Thank you for checking it out, yes he didn’t run away and face the most difficult times to go inward to find the ultimate truth and purpose of the life. Glad you liked it.
Very interesting journey. You might be able to write a book as I am sure you may have more to share. It needs lot of courage to be vulnerable and share the story yet it would help severals as we all are caged in something.
I have written a memoir called COUNT TIME! Tells the story. I’ve been working on it for a long time getting it ready. Where’d and right now it’s with an agent that requested the full manuscript. This is the second one and hopefully the last ✨🌺
Beautiful writing! Thanks for putting all this together. I was planning to read books on the Maharishi. I did not want to get summaries from ChatGPT. But now, you've given me such lovely insights. Keep writing Trupti.
Thank you for the kind words. Yes, it would be really nice if you explore and share more about these gurus, acharyas, and sages. Many of their stories still live in regional languages that our kids can hardly access today.
Self-realization is the beginning of perfection for the spirit soul who can then progress to an infinitely blissful relationship with the Supreme Person. Merging into His effulgence is a trap which obscures His eternal form and personality. This merging is blissful but always temporary and not the final destination.
Thank you. Yes, all paths of yoga ultimately point toward this truth. The life of a yogi like Ramana Maharshi also shows that, at times, the longing to know truth must become stronger than attachment to methods and tools themselves. Perhaps he was a soul carrying the force of many births of Sadhana. His life is a powerful reminder to ask: are we merely occupied with methods, or are we truly moving toward that final inquiry where all questions and all answers come to rest?
Thank you for sharing that. Many people say that visiting Arunachala changes something quietly inside. Ramana’s life continues to guide seekers in the most simple yet profound way.
Yes, I agree completely. Visiting Arunachalla is a life changing experience for so many. I too fully enjoyed saturating in that presence. For me reading Ramana years ago was a huge key for my life's journey. In linking what I knew from inquiries into yoga and zen, "Who am I?" became my guiding practice. Still is. The perfect koan and the perfect mantra.
Captured the transition from the ‘physical’ runway of asana to the internal ‘destination of self. Bravo I love this article.

We all want purpose. I’m so grateful I found mine too
This is where I learned yoga.

All the best. I will keep an eye to read it. I am mother and love yoga so I would love to read how both help you in the darkest days.
Yoga helped me and hundreds other. But just helping me and helping me do over passion is such a blessing. I am so thankful✨✨✨ thank you so much
Thank you for this writing. So much shines through it, and it helped me see more of his life's story. He's such a gem 🙏
Thank you for taking the time to read. I agree, stories of these mystics can serve as quiet anchors in uncertain times.

Loved it
You are a beautiful story teller. Thank you for capturing Ramana’s message so simply and well.
Visiting Tiru and Arunachala (for me) was all about Ramana. His gift to us is tremendous.
Thank you so much for this sharing.
